Methodology Overview

The ASQ Performance methodology is simple in concept, but experience has shown that an in-depth understanding of each airport is vital to create accurate measures that can be trusted. DKMA experts have the industry knowledge and take the time to learn your airport’s needs.

The DKMA ASQP team has developed and documented clear and consistent measurement procedures to ensure that all airports measure in an identical manner and thus have comparable data.

Key aspects of ASQ Performance methodology:

  • 16 Key Performance Indicators are measured by all airports all year round, with the possibility to add additional KPI’s
  • Observations are conducted using a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant)
  • All airports use an identical methodology to guarantee consistent data for trend and benchmark analysis
  • Key Performance Indicators are only measured during peak times
  • A minimum sample size is mandatory to guarantee representative benchmarking
  • Participating airports can choose to increase the sample size or the number of surveyed KPI's.
